Dr Christine Ventress qualified at Liverpool University and came to work for a year in a rural hospital in Transkei. While there she met her husband, Arthur, and so stayed and worked for several years in Transkei and Ciskei. She then decided to specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at UKZN. Once qualified she started a private practice at Crompton Hospital. She has since given up Obstetrics to be able to spend more time with her family of 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
She moved to The Atrium this year and now runs a practice with interests in general gynaecology including surgery, early pregnancy, contraception and menopause. She also performs non invasive Laser treatment for painful intercourse, bladder leakage and vaginal rejuvenation and tightening.
